Live camera and ID check is a partner add-on: paste the vendor URL on the assessment so learners open it before they start. Live is in-house webcam in the runner once LiveKit is configured. Use stronger controls for certifications; keep lighter rules for formative quizzes. Staff review flagged events. We do not invent detection rates.

What is included vs partner add-on

Every organisation gets browser lockdown: fullscreen, blocked copy/paste and context menu, and an integrity log (focus, visibility, fullscreen, copy/paste, connection) for human review. Staff can force-submit a live sitting and get a high-risk in-app and email alert.

Video mode on the assessment is Off, Partner, or Live. Partner uses camera/ID in the vendor session via a launch URL on the start gate. Live is in-house webcam in the OnlineTestPlus runner once LiveKit is configured — cameras are not streaming without that ops step. We do not rebuild Safe Exam Browser.
