Item Analysis for Online Exams
When a paper is in, faculty need more than a mean score. Item analysis in OnlineTestPlus AI shows how each question behaved: how many marks it awarded on average, whether strong and weak attempts separate, and which wrong options attracted a crowd.

See which questions are too easy, too hard, or pulled off-key by a popular wrong option — facility, discrimination, and distractor shares, not a black-box IRT engine.
What the numbers mean
Facility is the mean percent of marks awarded on that item. Discrimination is the full-credit rate in the top 27% of attempts minus the bottom 27% — available once ten or more sittings exist. Attracting distractors are incorrect options chosen by 25% or more of responses.
Flags such as TOO EASY, TOO HARD, WEAK DISCRIMINATION, and ATTRACTING DISTRACTOR are prompts for faculty review. They do not auto-retire questions and faculty judgement stays in charge before you change a bank.
